Kids Care 24: Art and Storytelling
November 4–December 17, 2017
The advance art class – 8th grade were invited to participate in the 24th annual Kids Care project, where students make artworks as gifts for people in need. Students’ artwork will be exhibited in Woodmere’s Helen Millard Children’s Gallery.
This exhibition showcases over 1,000
works of art made by children to be given
to families in need. This partnership with
MANNA engages young people with the
beauty of sharing and caring about others.
Kids Care is a collaboration between Woodmere Art Museum and MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance). After the closing of the exhibition, the artworks will be wrapped and delivered by MANNA along with a holiday meal to individuals battling life-threatening illnesses.
