Why Holy Cross Catholic School?
At Holy Cross Catholic School your child will receive an outstanding education to prepare them for high school and beyond in a safe environment where they will grow emotionally, morally, and physically. Holy Cross has a Sophia Program for students in grades six through eight, which is a unique enrichment program. Holy Cross is also working with Drexel University for the implementation of a STEMS program.

Does my child need to be Catholic and a member of your parish?
No - Students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome at Holy Cross Catholic School! As a Catholic school, each student will be expected to participate in daily prayer and religious education. Monthly mass will be celebrated with students and teachers, and all family members are invited to attend.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes! Holy Cross Catholic School is a tuition- assisted school, with families receiving scholarships based on need. For more information, visit our Tuition & Financial Aid page.
What time does the day begin and end at Holy Cross?
The morning bell at Holy Cross rings at 8:05 AM, at which time our students are expected to be in their seats in the auditorium. Our dismissal bell rings at 2:55 PM.
We live a distance from Holy Cross, but we would like our children to attend your school. Do you have bus service?
Yes, we do have bus service for students who may live a distance! Just call Mrs. VanThuyne at 215-242-0414 and she will provide you with information for your child.

Do you have a lunch program at Holy Cross?
Yes, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Nutritional Development Service provides hot lunch and breakfast for our students at no cost. Please see our Breakfast and Lunch Program page for more information and monthly menus.
Do you offer before and after care?
Yes, care is available before school at 7: 15 am free of charge. After care is available until 6:00 pm. Please visit our Before and After Care page for more information.
When will I find out if we have received financial aid?
As an Independent Mission School, we strive to deliver a high-quality education for an affordable price. All students must be enrolled and accepted before a decision on financial aid will be made. Our enrollment specialists will be able to give you a close estimate of the monthly amount you can expect to pay during your school tour.
How old does my child need to be for Kindergarten?
Students must be 5 years old before September 1.
How many students are in each class?
Classroom sizes average 25 students.
